ISPA Project implementation in Targu Mures
Starting may 2003, CIMP consultants are providing technical assistance in AQUASERV Tg Mures for institutional strengthening, as part of the consortium build along with Mott MacDonald and Severn Trent Water International (UK). The project, funded by PHARE, is expected to end in April 2004. The result of the assistance - a process based operation in
Water Utility Company, represents a premiere for Romania. It implies a dramatic and
fundamental switch from the traditional functions such as Production, Economic, Transport,
Maintenance to a process oriented organisational structure, focused on the add value chain
that lead to customer's satisfaction. Overlapping of activities and conflicts on the
resources will be avoided, human resources will be given the opportunity for professional
consolidation and career development, the company response to the market will become
effective. |

PHARE
Project, CLUJ County Public Administration - Getting Close to Professionalism
Between may and august 2003, CIMP acts as partner for Cluj County Council in "Getting close to professionalism" development program. The program funded by PHARE 2000 - Social and Economic Cohesion Fund targets public administration servants. CIMP consultants have design and delivered interactives training programs addresing topics related to Human Resources Management, Project Cycle Management and Financial Management for Public Administration. Over 250 public administration servants have benefited by this opportunity. Training was designed to facilitate the transfer of
theoretical aspects throughout case studies, exercises and role-plays. Outcomes of the
program empower participants to initiate and implement local development projects and
access existing funding sources. Additional relevant materials to improve day to day
operation were provided for each participant. |
